Block IP is a premium add-on that lets site owners block unwanted visitors at the network level. With it, you can prevent specific IP addresses or full ranges from ever accessing your site before any content or login page is shown.
You can block single IPs or entire ranges using IPv4 or IPv6 notation, including CIDR. Visitors from blocked addresses receive a 403 Forbidden response immediately.
Block IP gives you flexibility in how blocking is applied. You can block IPs across your entire site, including admin, APIs, and login, or restrict blocking to just front-end pages so that admins can still log in. In all cases, the block rules take precedence over other visibility settings.
Because many sites sit behind proxies or CDNs, Block IP includes a Trust Proxy option. It inspects headers like X-Forwarded-For or CF-Connecting-IP to detect the actual visitor’s IP rather than that of the proxy.

The admin interface is simple and efficient. You can bulk import or export IP lists with CSV, filter and search entries, and add notes per entry. Inline editing, pagination, and bulk deletion make management straightforward.
