This is a great plugin. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it does exactly what I need. I forces people to create an account in order to see the content. However, I just logged in and I think there is a problem with the settings.
I had the options set to “Go to Specific URL” after login and users were re-directed here: http://shoppinista.net/activity/
However, even though it is still configured that way in the Plugin, when I log in it now redirects me to this page: http://shoppinista.net/members/#login
Thank youOctober 18, 2016 at 1:15 pm #4697
I haven’t made any updates to the plugin code since well before you first installed it. So I’m guessing that something else that changed in your system is causing some sort of conflict.
What have you changed recently?

Same problem here. I’m unable to make the redirection “Return to same URL” works :(.
And as kilometrics I’ve tried to define a specific URL by using the “Go to Specific URL” option but without any success.
Have you any idea, solution?

Pierre, is this a new problem, as it appears to be for the OP? Or are you using a new install of the plugin?

Hi David :).
Sorry but as I have to hurry up the development of the website, so I’ve used an other plugin (UM) :(…
In fact, I tested some time ago your plugin and everything worked fine, but after time (and some updates, including WP) the redirection doesn’t works anymore.

Completely understand. What plugin did you decide to go with? Might be useful to recommend to folks if they need an alternate solution.

Hi David :).
It’s UM > Ultimate Member > https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-member/
Have a great day 🙂 !

Yeah, that’s a smart choice. It’s a much more capable and comprehensive plugin.

I need to redirect to a URL that need the current user ID in the URL, for example:
Where pjaramillo is the current logged user., how can I redirect to a page that way?
Thank you.April 30, 2017 at 10:04 pm #7654
I don’t think it works that way. You might want to try a membership plugin.

We’ve been using your plugin for a couple of months without issue but lately it seems like wp-activate.php is redirecting to a blank page when choosing “Return to same URL” and a new user is activating their account. . It doesn’t look like we can add exceptions for this without directly editing the plugin. Have you seen / heard of this? We have the settings set so that entering the site would direct people to the homepage.

I have heard some reports of this. At this point, my best suggestion is to use another plugin. It’s on my bug list, but I can’t promise a fix anytime soon.March 1, 2018 at 8:35 am #10422
Okay, got it. Thanks for getting back to me!
